Michael Douglas has made some news.  You could argue that a particular part of his body has made news, and I’d give you that.  And I’d classify you as “proper” if you specified Mike’s throat as the aforementioned body part.

The situation surrounding the former sex-addict, Hollywood star’s cancer and how he acquired it has become, unfortunately, something of a punch-line amongst the din of flat-screens everywhere.  Did the Human PapillomaVirus (HPV) have anything to do with his contracting throat cancer?  Sure.  But it has certainly led to a lot more questions about human sexuality and how we are doing a pretty damn good job of poisoning our bodies with assorted shots and pills.

Well, allow me to draw another lion into the den.  And I’m almost sure this one’s gonna roar.

Where does the Catholic Church stand on oral sex?  Can a man perform cunnilingus on his wife and still stay within the boundaries of being faithful to the Church?  Can a woman “return the favour”, so to speak?

Geez, as I clear my throat, I knew it was gonna be difficult trying to keep my nose clean with the verbiage.

Throats, tongues, noses, and… uh… “privates”.
