The Catholic Church is on its own, friends. Let us strengthen Holy Mother Church by being bold and stalwart IN WHAT WE BELIEVE, and charitably Christ-like in HOW WE EXPRESS IT.

What the now Ven. Sheen said 82 years ago is prophetic. Of course, he was also talking about “THE Church”. Not the 40,000 plus “sects” who are dingys alongside, but the very Barque of Peter.

It is when we dominate a culture that we practice a measured “softness”. These are not those times. We are being forced into the catacombs. Now is not the time for softness, but rigidity… and ineffable JOY for the fact that we are being called to suffer, as the Early Christians suffered! What a gift.

We are fighting this battle alone.
And, to echo the Venerable Sheen, we WILL fight.
